Australia’s Victoria Reviews a Slight Enhance in Native COVID-19 Instances | World information
SYDNEY (Reuters) – The Australian state of Victoria reported 20 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, up from 11 the day before as authorities eased lockdown rules in regions outside of Melbourne, the state capital.
All of the new cases reported Tuesday are related to previous infections, but 15 have spent time in the community while they were contagious, the state health department said.
Melbourne is – for the sixth time since the beginning of the pandemic – closed until at least Thursday.
