GOP Denies Further Public Rescheduling Hearings for Missouri Senate | politics
The results of the newly drawn maps will have a significant impact on who is running and where they are running in 2022.
Senator Bob Onder, R-Lake Saint Louis, is temporary and will not run in Senate District 2, which includes western St. Charles County.
Candidates are already lining up to replace him.
Jenna Roberson, a Democrat from Wentzville, previously announced her plans to run for the seat in the heavily Republican area. Roberson is the operations manager of her family’s commercial janitorial and floor care business.
On the Republican side, MP Nick Schroer and House Speaker Pro Tem John Wiemann have announced their plans for the Senate seat. Lake Saint Louis Rep. Justin Hill also signaled his plan to run when he added $ 100,000 to his campaign fund.
In the 22nd Senate District, the Republican Senator Paul Wieland from Imperial is on a temporary basis. The borough, centered in Jefferson County, includes Arnold, High Ridge, and Pevely.
