Kelly Clarkson will pay most of her children’s school fees but refuses to pay for her ex’s ranch.
The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker is working out the details of her split from Brandon Blackstock and has agreed to pay the bulk of the fees for her children – River Rose, 7 and Remington Alexander, 5 – to go to a private school to visit, she does not want to pay for the running costs of Brandon’s ranch, which is a decision of the judge and which has agreed to Kelly’s terms.
Court documents received from TMZ confirm that Kelly will continue to pay Brandon $ 150,000 a month while the divorce proceedings continue in court, as well as $ 45,000 in child support.
Meanwhile, Kelly is reportedly “doing great” as she continues her divorce.
A source said, “Kelly is more than fine. She is great and she is looking ahead. She enjoys the fact that she has the kids most of the time and enjoys spending time with them.”
The ‘Breakaway’ singer previously admitted that her music will guide her through her divorce.
She said, “I have this album that we are working on. It’s really great and really honest. There are just a lot of questions that I have to answer before posting it for myself, you know?
“Business or personal or whatever. Whatever happens, it’s such a gift. I don’t know how someone, I’ll just be honest with you, going through grief like divorce, any kind of grief, any kind of Loss without having such a valve. “
Kelly has written 60 tracks and admitted that it was a “blessing” what was going on.
She added, “I’ve written about 60 songs, it’s an insane amount to get out.
“I think that’s a blessing in itself. Every time you go through a life it’s a great thing to have that outlet, whether people hear it or not.”
