Ocala Food & Wine Festival: The World Equestrian Center, 1390 NW 80th St., Ocala, will host the first Ocala Food and Wine Festival at Expo 1 from August 21, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Live music, cooking demonstrations, an iron chef-style competition, and specialty foods & drinks from 50+ local restaurants, world-class wineries, breweries and distilleries. Multimedia art exhibition: Moderated by Michael Cariglio, a multimedia art exhibition will be open on August 21st from 7pm to 9pm at the Kraftwerk Incubator, 405 SE Osceola Ave., Ocala. Free. “Dirty Rotten Villains”: The Ocala Civic Theater’s next show, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” a story of scammers trying to talk wealthy women out of their money, opens from August 26th to September 19th -2274. The theater is located at 4337 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
Art walk on the first Friday: The First Friday Art Walk returns to downtown Ocala on September 3rd from 6pm to 9pm. Hands-on art activities and demonstrations, local artists selling work, and street musicians and live musicians in the downtown plaza with Taylor Rich. At 7:00 p.m. at the Brick City Center for the Arts, 23 W. Broadway St., the Levitt AMP Music Series guitar will be presented.
