When asked by Gallaher, Miller replied that the application deadline for grants was September 15.
A person in the gallery asked if there was already money for the 25% match in the public prosecutor’s budget.
“We would ask for the play money because when we came up with the budget for next year it was not part of our request,” said Miller. “So it would be a budget adjustment. The grant will be awarded and will start on January 1st next year. We would probably not know until later this year whether we will get the money or not.”
