To like a liked one with psychological sickness


When helping someone with a mental illness, friends and family members often face unique, complex situations that can be difficult to identify, understand, or manage.

Brittany Shipley, Executive Director of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood River Valley, will provide information and insight into the psychological and scientific elements of the brain that contribute to disease, as well as discussing ways to develop empathy, understanding and judgment reduce and support wellness.
