- Gather and Measure all the Ingredients

- All-purpose flour 2 cups (480 g)
- Water 1 cup (240 ml)
- Salt 2 teaspoon (10 g)
Now you are ready to go. If you want to make a large number of hardtack crackers, you can use more flour. In that case, always remember to use the flour and water ratio at a 2-1 mixture. And the amount of salt will vary according to your taste. You can use all types of flour. But white flour is the best for it as it needs to be long-lasting.
- Preheat The Oven

If it is flaky, then add a little bit of water. Now spread some flour on the rolling surface and put the dough on it. Then roll it until it gets a 3 centimeters thickness.
